Foundation
We'd like to take a minute and introduce ourselves. We are Ashley and Mark Alexander. More importantly, we are the proud parents of Parker Laine.
Parker was born asleep on September 18, 2020. Unfortunately, we had to endure the same thing that many other parents have to experience... the loss of our beloved angel.
We were fortunate enough to be able to spend a whole day with Parker. It was only after we got home and had time to decompress, that we realized how fortunate we were to have that time and our amazing support staff at our hospital.
After some time and careful thought, we tried to figure out how best to honor Parker and her memory. We have decided to start the Parker's Purpose Foundation.
This foundation will endeavor to help make a horrible situation, as bearable as possible by keeping the memory of Parker and her other angel friends alive.
We plan to do this by purchasing Caring Cradles for local hospitals and birthing facilities. These amazing cooling devices allow parents and families experiencing stillbirth, miscarriage, or infant loss the time needed to spend with their precious babies. This is so important because not all families and parents are allowed the necessary time to say hello and goodbye.
We have recently started donating care packages and stuffed bunnies to our local hospitals. We are also now offering the option to send a bunny to a grieving parent anywhere in the USA.
